Pictionary

I Pictionary er det om å gjøre å kunne tegne forskjellige ord slik at lagkameratene dine forstår hvilket ord du prøver å tegne. I tillegg bør du selv være flink å tyde hvilke ord de andre på laget ditt tegner. Det er fem kategorier ord:

• Person/sted/dyr (navnene er inkludert)
• Gjenstand (ting som kan tas på eller ses)
• Hendelse (ting som kan utføres)
• Vanskelig (utfordrende ord)
• Alle spiller (dette kan være alle typer ord)

Pictionary spilles av to til fire lag. Hvert lag får en spillebrikke som plasseres på start. Det er 56 felter frem til mål. Hvert felt er merket med en av de fem kategoriene. Når det er et lags tur velger de en på laget som skal være picturist, dvs. hvem som skal tegne. Picturisten tar det øverste kortet og ser på det. På kortet står fem ord, et i hver kategori. Picturisten skal nå tegne ordet som er i samme kategori som på feltet spillerbrikken deres står på. Samtidig skal de andre på laget prøve å finne ut hva ordet er. Picturisten kan kun utrykke seg med penn og papir. Han kan ikke tegne bokstaver eller tall eller bruke tegnspråk og miming. Dersom laget kommer frem til riktig ord innen tiden har gått ut får det kaste terningen og flytte like mange felter fram. I motsatt fall blir de stående og det blir neste lags tur.

Hvem vinner?

Første lag som gjetter riktig når brikken deres står på det siste feltet vinner.

"Alle spiller"

Pictionary er et veldig morsomt spill. Det fungerer i det stort sett ganske likt Taushet Er Gull og Fantasi. Det som gjør Pictionary til et bedre kjøp enn de to andre er at det har flere oppgaver og at vanskelighetsgraden på ordene er passe vanskelig. I tillegg har Pictionary kategorien "Alle spiller". Når et lag står på "Alle spiller" får picturisten på samtlige lag se oppgaven samt prøve å tegne den - på likt. Alle lagene gjetter også, og det laget som først kommer frem til riktig ord overtar spillet, kaster terningen og flytter sin brikke. Stressfaktoren øker voldsomt når man er på "Alle spiller". Ikke bare slåss man mot klokken, men man må gjette riktig før de andre lagene.

Et bra valg

Skal du gå til innkjøp av et tegnespill av denne typen bør du velge Pictionary. Selv om det er dobbelt så dyrt som Fantasi så er det verdt pengene. (Taushet Er Gull selges ikke lenger).

The game is awesome. We play as a family, men against women. There are 20 persons involved and we have a terrific time. The girls, women, usually win. Our dilemma, the timer is broken, and the rules do not state the time element. Could someone PLEASE tell me what the time per play is? I am pretty sure it is 3 minutes, but to be absolutely fair to the losing team (usually the guys), I want to be absolutely positive.

You don't have to roll the exact number to advance to the end - if you're 3 squares away, and roll a 6, you move as far as you can.Second Edition cards can presumably be bought on Ebay, or by using cards from Trivial Pursuit (for example). Also, Hasbro has released a 20th anniversary edition.

I played Pictionary with some friends last night and during All Play, a team member from another team was watching OUR team draw the word. Is that fair? Do the members have to stick to their own teams during All Play? What's the sense of having teams otherwise?! Please let me know! Thanks!
