Mad

MAD - spillet for dårlige tapere, er et slags omvendt Monopol. Her gjelderdet nemlig om å være den første til å bli kvitt alle pengene sine. Alt med en humor og i en språkdrakt vi kjenner fra bladet. I MAD kaster man terningene med venstre hånd og flytter mot klokken.

Når det er en spillers tur kaster han terningene, flytter spillebrikkensin og utfører instruksjonene for det feltet han lander på. Noenfelt får betydning for alle spillerne, andre kun for den som lander der.Eksempler på felt:

• Bytt penger med spilleren til høyre
• Rykk fire felter bakover
• Du taper 1000 spenn hvis alle spillerne sitter. Hvis en står vinner du 2000

Havner en spiller på et felt som sier "Plukk et kort!" så må vedkommende trekke det øverste "Hva nå?"-kortet og følgeinstruksjonene. Eksempler på "Hva nå?"-kort:

• Får du din venstre nabo til å le, taper du 1000 raske
• Bytt plass med hvem som helst
• Reis deg opp og herm etter ditt favorittdyr. Klarer du det taper du 2000 spenn

Vinner er den spilleren som først blir kvitt alle pengene sine.

Terningflaks

MAD er et typisk terningflaks-spill. Her trenger man ikke tenke strategi eller vurdere ulike taktikker (tror ikke spillet hadde tjent på det heller). Spillet er morsomt og jeg har spilt det en del oppover årene, men når jeg ser på det nå så virker det litt utdatert. Mulig det er bare jeg som er blitt gammel?

This game is not in print anymore, but you can try getting a copy from Ebay where there usually are some copies for sale.

my husband & I bought this when it first came on the market. We play this now as a family game as our boys are 13 & 18.We have all the pieces and the board is in near mint condition. This game is at least 25 years old!! We still have a good time with it, and the kids also subscribe to MAD

I got this game many years ago from a garage sale (I think). Unfortunately, the rules weren't provided... things like 'left-hand dice rolling' are things I vaguely remember. Does anyone know where the rules might be found? Believe it or not, I actually sat down and played with family & friends, although we had to make it up as we went along.
