Vriompeis

Let me see, I've got only two cards left, both green. If no one changes the current suit, this should be an easy match. Unless, of course, Peter plays a card that forces me to draw cards like he always does!

More info

Vriompeis is the Norwegian edition of a German copy of a modern variant of a classic card game (puh!). Crazy Eights is a well-known card game for use with a deck of standard playing cards. Later, we got the commercial game Uno, a variant of Crazy Eights. Uno was such a sales-hit that the German company ASS made their owen version of Uno. This version was released in Norway by Damm. The name? Vriompeis.

Except for the graphic on the cards, Uno and Vriompeis are the same games. The are different on some minor details, but these have no influence on game play. Check the entry for Uno for more details about game play.

What is the better game?

I have played both Uno and Vriompeis, and I must say that without doubt Uno is the better choice. The gameplay is as I've already says identical, but the graphic design of the cards on Vriompeis makes me confused. It is harder to "read" those cards and often you mix what kind of card it is and even which suit (color) it is.

I need history of the game UNO
bmwman:
Vriompeis er bedre, nettopp fordi det er vanskelig å skille kortene! Skaper mange morsomme situasjoner
