Memory

Great! Peter turned a sheep and a dog. I think I know where both the other sheep and the other dog is. If I am correct this means two quick points to me. But still Peter will have more points than me...

More info

Memory is a well known game that can also be played with a deck of ordinary playing cards. You shuffle the cards and spread them out face down. When it is a player's turn he turns over two cards so that all players can see them. If the two cards are identical he can keep them and turn over two new cards. He continues to turn over cards as long as he finds two identical ones. When he turns over two cards which are not identical, he puts them back on the table (face down) and it is the next player's turn.

Winning the game

When all the cards have been picked, the player with the most cards wins.

Well known and good

Memory is a simple, but good game. You need to have a sharp mind and stay focused if you want to win. This is also one of the few games (except for pure luck-driven games) were children have a genuine chance of winning against grown-ups - you know how sharp minds children really have!

Memory have been produced in several different editions with various degree of difficulty. For the youngest children you get Memory games with thicker, sturdier cards and clearer pictures, and for dad (or your brother-in-law) you can get Busen Memo - a Memory game were you must find identical women's breast...

History

Memory is Ravensburger's greatest game success ever. The game was first published in 1959 and Ravensburger has sold more than 50 million copies in 70 countries! And to this number you can add all the Memory games published by other game companies. It was William Hurter, from Switzerland, who introduced Memory to Ravensburger, the game that became a door opener for a great economical success for Ravensburger - and also the game market as a whole.

I absolutely love this game and have used it for years in teaching language. I would like to order this game as gifts for my family. How do I do so online?
