Matte-Mix

In this game you put your mathematics skills on test. You are presented with a game board showing four calculations to be solved: adding, subtracting, multiplication and division. (See photo).

When it is a players turn he rolls the dice and turns the hour glass. The dice have the value of 1 to 15 and these are the numbers the player have to get placed on the game board and at the same time having the sums go up. When the time is up the player must stop even if he has not managed to place all of the dice. The player receives a score which is found by adding the values of all the dice used and subtracting the value of the dice left on the table.

Winning the game

The player who has the highest total score after a certain couple of rounds is declared the winner.

For children and grown-ups

If you play with both children and grown-ups you can give handicap by letting the children use twice the time or maybe dropping the time limit altogether. As in Letra-Mix it is a great advantage if you are lucky with the die rolls.
