Letra-Mix

The hour glass is turned and I've rolled the dice. Now I need to use the letters in the dice in such a manner that they form words that will earn me the highest score. Jones is leading with more than 50 points, so I'll need every single point I can get!

More info

In Letra-Mix the players are forming words out of dice marked with letters. When it is a players turn he rolls the dice and the hour glass is turned. The letters are put together into different words in the same manner as in a crossword, both across and down, and eache die he places on the board must be layed next to an already placed die. Each letter has a score after how hard it is to use, from 1 point for the letters A and E up to 7 points for Q. When the time is up you count all the points for the letters used in words formed across and add it to the points for the letters used in words formed down. Then you subract the value of the dice not used in order to get the players score for the round. Dice from Letra-Mix

Winning the game?

After you've played a certain amount of rounds you add up each players score and the player with the highest score wins.

Example of score

On the picture we can see a player who managed to make four (Norwegian) words before the time went out; "syl", "melde", "en" and "di". For this he gets 22 points. Unfortunately he didn't manage to use the letters D, F, Å or A and will therefore get a penalty og 6. So his total score for this round is 16 points.
