Hamburger

In Hamburger the players are chefs who competes to be the first to make a super-hamburger consisting of: pickles, onion, ketchup, mayonnaise, cheese, meat, lettuce, tomato and hamburger bread.

Gameplay

The ingredient counters are mixed and placed face down on the center of the game board. When it is a players turn he rolls the dice and moves his piece around the board in a way similar to Monopoly. The various ingredients are marked on the squares and when a player lands on a square he can pick up one of the ingredient counters from the middle of the board. If it matches the square the player is standing on and this is an ingredient the player is missing, he can place it on his card board. If it isn't a match he places it face down on the middle of the board again, without showing to the other players.

You can collect the ingredients in the order you want, except for the hamburger bread which have to be the last ingredient you add.

Special squares

If the player lands on one of the four hamburger squares he can choose which ingredient he wants to look for. He says the ingredient out loud, picks an ingredient counters and if it is a match he might keep it. If not, he'll have to return it to the middle of the board.

On the board there are four kitchen squares, one for each player. If a player lands on his own kitchen square he won't have to say what ingredient he is looking for, he can just pick one up for free, and if it is an ingredient the player needs he might keep it. If not he'll have to put it back.

If a player lands on one of the other players kitchen squares, he might steal an ingredient from this player. He can place the ingredient on his own card board or place it face-down on the middle of the board.

Winning the game

The first player to collect all nine ingredients is declared winner.

Memory game

This game is a good mixture of luck and memorizing. You need luck when rolling the dice but more important is that you remember where the different ingredients are placed on the middle of the board. This isn't too easy because a player who picks up the wrong ingredient does not have to put it down on the same square he took it, he might put it on any free squares in the middle of the board. This way the unused ingredient counters are constantly shuffled around.
